April 24, 2007 – Rotary Notes

From the Top:

I want to thank the AF&W committee for a very nice event Sunday evening.  We'll look for an initial report from the committee Thursday morning. For now you can see photos from the event on our web site
http://www.rotarydexter.org/AFW/flyer2007.html.

We had a board meeting this morning which means this week’s meeting will be a business meeting.  However, we will have visitors from the GSE Team that is visiting the District.  Three of the team members will give us a brief presentation early in the meeting as they need to depart for a full day at the U of M.  Please try to arrive early to welcome our visitors from Thailand.

There are many things coming up on our calendar so review the upcoming events that Lori has listed below.  A committee has been formed to coordinate the transfer of presidential duties to John Hansen.  The date is the only firm thing at this point, it is June 28th.  More to follow.

See you Thursday!

Thanks,
--Fred

Remember the time is 6:30 and the place is 3530 Hudson Street. This is a family-friendly gathering. Please email Lori Sprague at lsprague75@sbcglobal.net if you plan on attending.

Playhouse Nearing Completion:

There’s still some work to be done on the playhouse but it is almost done! You won’t have many more chances to work on this one so get out to the Brady barn on Thursday or Saturday. Volunteers are also needed to repaint our trailer before the Memorial Day parade so all you Rustoleum junkies take note!
