It’s time to sign up for the
playhouse construction. This Saturday is the first
day and I believe the crew is set for the day.
Please sign up when Jeff circulates the sheet.
There is still time to attend the Membership seminar
in Brighton this Saturday. If you are interested,
please register at the District website. Our
speaker this week is Terry Jacoby. Terry is the new
Editor of the Dexter Leader. Let’s welcome him with
a good crowd.

Last Week’s Program:
/fontfamily>Jennifer Rice shared the story of how
saving a single life requires the participation of
many--donors, prayer partners, villagers and medical
personnel—working along with Jennifer and Rob’s air
ambulance service. We have the opportunity to
support Great Commission Air as a club and
individually. Rob and Jennifer are currently
stateside raising money to return to Guatemala next
fall to resume their lifesaving mission. You can
learn more by visiting the Great Commission Air web
site:
http://www.greatcommissionair.org//color>.
The Rices belong the Ann Arbor Briarwood Rotary
Club.

Volunteer Training Set:
/x-tad-bigger>Rotarians who have
volunteered to help in the Dexter High School
library may attend a brief training session on
either February 20 or 22 at 2:30pm in the DHS
library. The purpose of this project is to make the
library available to students outside of school
hours. Additional volunteers are welcome. See Larry
Courson, /x-tad-bigger>

for details.
/x-tad-bigger>Youth Exchange News:
/x-tad-bigger>Koy is settling into
her new home and second semester classes. She is
practicing daily with other hopefuls for the girls’
soccer team. Tryouts are in March. Not only has Koy
experienced snow for the first time but she has also
been sledding on some of the coldest days. She is
one tough gal!
Our district exchange students have been invited to
present a program for Cub Scouts in Berkley on
Saturday evening, March 3. If you are available that
evening, please volunteer to drive Koy. You will be
able to eat dinner there and meet some of our other
great students. Contact Lori Sprague
